The
evo Hardcore freestyle boot is one of the most
advance skates, bringing for the very first time
composite fibre to the world of slalom skates.
This is one of the lightess and most advance boot
on the market. Although Seba have introduced a
similar spec boot it tops the price range at over
£380. Powerslide being one of the market
leaders in high end speed skates has managed to
bring this advance technology to a far more affordable
price at £320. This is truely amazing value
for the technology.
The
boot has become a firm favourite with some of
the ESA marshalls and although I would question
it being better that the S3 skalis you cannot
despute the top end technology and durability
of the boot.
Good
points: A
very well made light weight boot boasting top
end technology for a remarkable price. One if
not the best looking boot on the market.
Bad points:
Does not offer the same
soft boot advantages that comes with the S3 model.

The
S3 Skalis has arrived and does not dissapoint.
The S3 is sure to become a real contender in the
pro skate market. Although the skates are over
the £215 mark they do offer excellent levels
of spec for the money.
The
Skalis is a very well made boot with excellent
straps and fixtures. Its light weight frame and
boot makes for a extremely well balanced boot,
giving you excellent stability and control.
The
S3s is a true soft boot, which allows you to mould
your skates easily and comfortably to your feet,
using its lacing system. However it is important
to ensure the boots are laced correctly- when
lacing the boots you must ensure that the lace
fits into the lace hoops located on the tongue
of the boot. Failing to lace the boots properly
will lead to the tongue sliding down to your toes
which will lead to discomfort.
If
your looking for a well made, high spec boot then
the S3 Skali is for you!
Good
points: An
excellent light weight pair of skates offering
excellent value for money.Brilliant
Bad points:
Takes a little
longer to put on your skates

The Seba Skate range is in comparison to the
Rollerblade Twisters are relatively new skates.
. Their range includes the hard boot FR1s and
the softer boot Seba Highs. Although they are
more expensive (£190) than the Twisters
they do offer an array of well thought out design
features. The Seba range all offers the all important
extruded chassis for superior speed, control and
durability. We do however recommend the FR1 over
the Seba Highs for the less experience skaters
as it offers the durability of the hard boot.
Good points:
Good pair of skates
and looks great..
Bad points: Be
aware of some dodgy clips on the FR1s.
Members have complained
about some comfort issues. Heavy
boot when compared to Powerslides.

The Rollerblade Twisters is a great boot offering
real value for money. At £150 the Rollerbalde
twister is the most affordable skate of the 4
skates being reviewed. The Twisters is a relatively
weight hard boot with a an excellent short extruded
chassis providing excellent balance and control
to the skater. The boot includes the all important
toe clips which for a top of a range boot is a
must. Another big plus with the Twisters is that
they come with an excellent set of outdoor wheels
(Hyper Concrete). However with hard wheels you
will feel more of the bumps and vibration when
skating over uneven surfaces( 84a Hardness). So
if comfort is the most important thing for you,
the ESA suggest a softer wheel!
The Twisters is becoming a popular skate with
our members and so far the durability has been
Ok and comfort of the skates have been good.If
you want a trusted good quality boot for an affordable
price then the Twisters are a great buy.
Good points:
Good value and excellent
all rounder.
Bad points:
The look of the skate is a little bland.
Be aware that clips can often fail on the boot.
